Favorite thing to build: Anything he can ride, race, or test
Meet Tyson →
Quiet, observant, endlessly resourceful. Sees useful machines hiding inside things everyone else calls junk.
Favorite thing to build: Something from sticks, wire, and whatever is lying around
Meet Hash →An Inventure starts when you look at something ordinary and ask:
"What could I make out of this?"
A busted fan. A crate. A pile of wire nobody wants.
Ask the only question that matters: what could this be?
Make the first bad version. Then make the second one.
Take it outside. Use it. Break it. Fix it.
Every invention, friendship and skill in the series is building toward one thing.

The Adventure Begins
Thirteen-year-old BJ loses his San Diego home to a wildfire. His family retreats to his grandfather's desert farm in Cedar Wash, in the Four Corners country of red rock, irrigation ditches, hay barns and one hardware store. BJ sees a barn full of junk. Grandpa shows him a barn full of parts. With three new friends, BJ starts inventing — and starts belonging.

The Adventure Gets Bigger
The builds leave the barn. Longer distances, bigger machines, harder failures. The kids explore canyons, ranches and back roads, learn from neighbors and elders, and discover that the hardest part of an invention is usually the second try.

The Inventure Carnival
Everything the kids have built, learned and repaired comes together at the Cedar Wash Inventure Carnival on Grandpa's farm. The whole community turns out, including neighboring Navajo families. Every ride, game and attraction is something the kids built themselves.
